It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of 41 Lead Farm’s closure. The range has been such a wonderful blessing to Lubbock Rimfire, always supporting our ARA matches and so many incredible events over the years. The owners aren't just partners in the sport - they are family. As they navigate this new season, we are keeping them close in our thoughts and prayers. May the Lord cover them with His grace and peace, reassuring them that as this door closes, He is faithfully preparing the path for what lies ahead. To our incredible Lubbock Rimfire family and every shooter who has graced the line at 41 Lead Farm - everyone who spent time on the range, mentored new shooters, shared their knowledge, and built lasting friendships - thank you. 41 Lead Farm was truly a place where you could walk in and instantly feel right at home. The camaraderie, memories, and bonds we built there will carry on long after those gates are closed. As we look toward the future, Lubbock Rimfire is actively exploring other options to host our community. At this time, we have not secured a new location to hold our ARA matches, but we will share updates as soon as more information becomes available. All competitors must have an ARA Competitor ID before registering for our matches. If you’re new to ARA and don’t yet have an ID, we’d love to help you get started. Simply visit the ARA website and register online. On the home page, look to the top‑right corner for the Login / Register link. Click Register, fill out the form, and submit it. Once your registration is complete, be sure to write down your Competitor ID and keep it handy — you’ll use this same ID at every ARA match, no matter where you shoot. Please note: shooters without an ARA Competitor ID will not be allowed to participate in our matches. We want everything to run smoothly for you, so taking a moment to register now will make your match day easy and enjoyable. Competitors please check your scores and information BEFORE leaving the range. Per ARA rules, scores cannot be changed once the protest period has ended. All competitors are encouraged to participate in the protest period. Once the protest has ended, check the Final Score sheet to make sure any corrections have been made. No scores, even corrections, can be made after the match has ended and/or a competitor has left the range. Competitors - it is YOUR responsibility to make sure you are using your correct ARA Competitor ID and your information on the match registration/sign-in is accurate. You can do this by looking up your competitor ID on the ARA website before each match. Keep your ARA Competitor ID card in your range bag, with your ammo, or in a location that will be easily accessible for each match. Clerical errors, such as incorrect competitor ID, must be corrected within FIVE (5) days of the date of the match. After the FIVE (5) days, no corrections can be made.

Lubbock Rimfire holds ARA Sanctioned Matches at the 41 Lead Farm. Start times differ depending on Winter Hours and Summer Hours for the range. The start time listed on the ARA Match schedule is when we start shooting the first official scored target; you need to arrive early to sign in, draw benches, and get set up. Bullets fly on time! Matches are held at the rifle range, under cover, concrete benches. Our matches are limited to 10 competitors and there must be a minimum of 4 competitors to hold a match (2 Unlimited and 2 Factory; or 4 Unlimited; or 4 Factory).

Matches are limited to 10 competitors total (combined Factory and Unlimited), and pre‑registration is required. Pre‑registration on the ARA website is now available, and we’ll be using this system for all match sign‑ups moving forward.
