Why?

Our matches are located at Red Cliffs Rifle and Pistol Range at 1044 South Shooting Sports Park Road, Hurricane Utah 84737. Please see Match Information for each match/tournament details.
Our range is less than an hour or two from Zion National Park and Grand Canyon National Park as well as Lake Powell and many scenic state parks.
Recreational opportunities, indoor and outdoor, abound in our region. You will be pleasantly surprised as you google what's available here.
You will also find numerous motel/restaurants within 20 minutes east or west.
The range is in an historical area called "purgatory flats" and so named by traveling pioneers that thought the heat was "as hot as hell" mostly because it is located in a rural area between ridges that protect it from potential cooling winds during high heat months. And the ridges are insurance against heavy switchy winds. Also, the range address is in "Hurricane" city limits, so named for that often occurring high wind over there but we are well away (10 mi) from that shot deflecting effect.
Our summer matches start at 8:00 a.m so we start early to try and beat the heat. Summer matches are 4 card so we can finish before it gets too hot. In the winter we start a little later at 10 a.m. and change to a 6 card match.
When you come you will leave satisfied that you have made new friends , been treated well and fairly, and you will wonder how soon you could come back!

See you soon
